Location
Nestled in the hills of the Abruzzo region sits the farm of Giuseppe Ciavolich.
Surrounded by several of Giuseppe’s vineyards, the picture-postcard view of the snow capped mountains, the Mediterranean sea and the medieval town of Loreto Aprutino ans Miglianico makes one feel as if they come home.
The road leading up to the house over looking the vineyards, affords a glimpse into the past of fine Italian wine making. The main structure of the Loreto’s house, built in 1700 in the rural country style is the starting point of our tour’s group.
The gleaming tile stairs lead our hosts to the tasting room once used to house the vineyards workers.
